There was a mistake with the Nov. 10 Granite City sports trivia. The question was supposed to be “what Major League Baseball franchise does Granite City native Keith Champion work for?” It read Kurt Champion. Brothers Keith and Kirk Champion, both Granite City natives, work in MLB. Keith is an advanced scout for the San Francisco Giants and Kirk is the minor league field coordinator for the Chicago White Sox. They are the sons of Conrad "Babe" Champion.
