Dani California Nelson was born at 4:39 p.m. Aug. 23, 2017, at OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony’s Health Center, the daughter of James Nelson and Alexandra Racadio, both of Wood River. She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 20 1/2 inches long. Grandparents are Ron Racadio of South Roxana, Wendy Werner of Wood River, and Donna Parker of Wood River. Big sisters are Mariah, age 16, and Jaimee, age 15; big brothers are Jesse, age 13, and Rylee, age 5.
